Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machines, starting with the bandsaw for prepping material for production. Using a tape measure, the candidate will cut steel to the required length and later learn to operate other machinery such as press brakes, burn tables, and hand grinders. All tasks will be performed following detailed work instructions for each job.

Work Environment
The work environment is akin to a large steel mill, specializing in structural steel fabrication. Employees work the 1st shift from 5:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday and 5:30am to 3:00pm on Fridays, with mandatory 49-hour work weeks. The facility handles large structural beams, requiring perfect welds as their product is structural steel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
