**Shop Helper**
Join a thriving sheet metal shop as a general shop helper, where you will be trained across various departments. You will operate machinery such as a timesaver, deburring parts, Trumpf Punch Press, and Trumpf Sheet Laser, while also ensuring the cleanliness of machines and the shop.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work as a floater and receive training in all departments.
+ Operate timesaver and deburring parts.
+ Set up and operate Trumpf Punch Press and Trumpf Sheet Laser.
+ Maintain cleanliness of machines and the shop.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in sheet metal fabrication.
+ General labor skills.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Assembly skills.
+ Grinding expertise.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints.
+ Deburring and welding skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
+ Strong desire to pursue a career in the sheet metal industry.
+ Ability to lift 50-60 lbs regularly.
+ Recent graduates from any sheet metal tech school are preferred.
+ Experience in shop class during high school.

**Work Environment**
Work in a prototype sheet metal fabrication shop that is clean, bright, and well-equipped. It is a union shop where most employees join the Union after 90 days. The facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and the latest Trumpf machines.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
