Job Description
Join our dynamic team in a versatile job shop environment, where every day brings new challenges and tasks. We work with a variety of materials including rubber, plastic, and metals, and support machine operators using laser and waterjet technologies. As a shop helper, you will engage in activities such as counting, sanding, cleaning parts, palletizing materials, deburring, packaging, and general cleanup. This role involves diverse functions throughout the shop on an assigned basis.
ResponsibilitiesPerform secondary operations such as deburring, parts cleaning, counting, and packaging.Load and unload materials onto machines.Pull parts from machines.Assist operators as necessary.Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing.Knowledge of production and general labor.Proficiency in forklift operation.Ability to handle materials efficiently.Skill in using hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in a shop environment.Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving heavy lifting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a machine shop environment where steel-toed boots are required. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and work in a loud setting. Shifts available: 1st shift - Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm and 2nd shift - Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1 am. Enjoy a $2 shift differential on the 2nd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mounds View, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
