**Job Title: Shop Assistant/Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a versatile and motivated Shop Assistant/Technician to support both the operational and technical aspects of our shop. This role combines shop upkeep with hands-on basic equipment maintenance and preparation. The ideal candidate will assist with inventory, equipment upkeep, and preparing vehicles to go on the road each day. **Responsibilities** + Inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. + Receive and process incoming shipments, verify inventory, and restock supplies. + Document equipment usage, maintenance activities, and inventory levels. + Assist field crews with equipment requests and troubleshooting. + Follow all safety protocols and company procedures. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical experience to perform basic preventative maintenance on vehicles and shop equipment. + General labor skills. + Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts. + Concrete construction experience. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience in construction environments. **Why Work Here?** We offer growth potential within our quickly expanding team, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. The team is currently small but expanding quickly. The regional manager is located in the Savannah office, with the owner visiting monthly. The dress code includes construction attire with personal protective equipment. Typically, work is conducted in teams of 2-4 people. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Savannah, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $45000.00/yr.
