Shipping Team Lead
Please read full job description before applying: US Citizen or Green Card holders only, no sponsorship available Must have international shipping experience What you'll be doing: Manage the day-to-day operations of the shift with constant emphasis on safety, quality, delivery and cost.  Acts as first point of contact for operators regarding mechanical failure or production issues.  Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce control procedures, recommending improvements to the Plant Superintendent, as appropriate.  Coordinates production activities with other departments to ensure production goals/objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.  Monitor production activities to eliminate waste and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules.  Input production data accurately into the system to measure and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) around efficiencies, downtime, inventory and overall production.  Provide freight quotes as requested  Generate Proforma Invoice as requested  Prepare shipping and export documentation required for international shipments.  Coordinate with sales/customer service team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers  Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies  Communicate with sales/service and other functional areas to resolve customer problems in a timely manner  Provide support to Sales/customer service team  Perform other tasks within the SRI team, as and when needed  Maintain international customer profile and relevant customer information as well as task specific SOP's    What you'll need: FedEx shipping software experience.  International shipping experience and knowledge of customs requirements.  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel  Preferably DOT/DG certified
