Job Description
As a Shipping Specialist, you will support compliant warehouse operations within a cGMP-regulated environment. You will oversee the receiving, handling, inventory management, and distribution of GMP and non-GMP materials. You will also serve as an acting lead, coordinating daily warehouse assignments and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the receiving, handling, inventory management, and distribution of GMP and non-GMP materials.Serve as acting lead and coordinate daily warehouse assignments.Assist in the setup, operation, disassembly, and monitoring of packaging equipment for solid, semi-solid, and liquid dosage forms.Perform cleaning procedures on packaging equipment and areas using cleaning solutions.Follow all safety procedures within the cGMP packaging areas and report discrepancies to management.Collaborate with Quality Assurance and other internal departments to ensure coordination of manufacturing activities.Support the identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).Provide flexible support through on-call rotation and overtime/weekend coverage as necessary.Essential SkillsStrong technical proficiencyExperience with SAP and ERP systemsAttention to detailMaterials management expertiseQuality inspection skillsRegulatory compliance knowledgeMaterial handling equipment experienceInventory management skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production and production schedulingFamiliarity with system hardwareUnderstanding of manufacturabilityExperience in inventory and stockingSkills in material handling, packing, picking, sorting, shipping, and receivingKnowledge of warehouse operations, project management, acceptance testing, and supplier managementWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in an engineering and production environment located in Columbia, MD. While some remote work is possible, the majority of tasks will require onsite presence. The work schedule follows normal business hours, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
