The role involves working the swing shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, in our chemical warehouse. You will be responsible for handling materials efficiently and safely, ensuring accurate inventory management, and contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities + Load and unload shipments and unpack or offload all incoming materials, storing them in proper locations within the plant/warehouse. + Stage packaging materials based on the batching schedule, using a handheld scanner to verify orders, and put away finished materials. + Stage and pack outgoing materials based on sales orders and stock transfer orders, verifying orders with a handheld scanner. + Generate appropriate labels for incoming and outgoing materials. + Utilize handheld scanners for various warehouse operations including materials receipt, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory. + Conduct weekly inventory and cycle counting. + Complete all paperwork and data entry by the end of the day in SAP or other online systems. + Deliver products throughout the facility, including small package delivery. + Communicate closely with the production team to ensure efficiency with incoming and outgoing materials. + Make suggestions to management for process improvements. + Maintain 5S organizational and cleanliness standards. + Work safely, observing safety rules, policies, and procedures, and identify unsafe conditions or actions to supervisor/management. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in material handling and SAP/ERP systems. + Experience with data entry and inventory tracking. + Ability to perform cycle counts. + Experience with forklift and other power equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Driving or CDLA experience is a plus for onsite driving. + Familiarity with handling different types of hazardous materials. + Isotainer/tanker truck offloading experience preferred. + MVR Check Required. Work Environment You will be working in a chemical warehouse environment during the swing shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
