Job Description

Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will manage the flow of parts and supplies in and out of the dealership, ensuring accuracy, organization, and clear communication with internal teams. This role is key to keeping the service and parts departments running smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipmentsProcess outgoing shipments using proper procedures and labelingMaintain accurate records in inventory systemsCommunicate shipment status and updates to team members and managersKeep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and safeTrack deliveries and follow up on delayed or missing itemsHandle service rental car program as directedAssist with department paperwork and internal correspondenceSupport positive relationships between dealership, customers, and vendorsFollow all safety guidelines and immediately report incidents

QualificationsStrong attention to detail and organizationComfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environmentBasic computer and data entry skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operationsFamiliarity with dealership or parts department systems
