**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and performing forklift/material handling duties. Your primary responsibilities will include moving bar stock and materials around the shop floor, loading them onto dock trucks, and ensuring inventory is accurately entered into the computer system. You will also be involved in strapping large parts and preparing materials for shipment. **Responsibilities** + Move bar stock and materials around the shop floor using forklift and other material handling equipment. + Load materials onto dock trucks for shipment. + Enter inventory data into computer systems and ensure correct placement on the shop floor. + Gather stock from Quality Control and prepare materials for shipment. + Work in Receiving to receive goods and materials. + Handle multiple directions from various people and manage stress effectively. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating forklifts and material handling equipment. + Experience in inventory management and control. + Strong data entry skills, particularly in SAP systems. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance encouraged for heavier items. + Good communication skills. + Basic computer experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months of experience in forklift/material handling. + Steel-toed boots required. + Ability to perform general labor duties throughout the day. + Preferred: High school diploma or GED. **Why Work Here?** Become part of a small, family-oriented company where you can enjoy full benefits upon hire.
