Shipping/receiving clerks work with minimal supervision to complete all shipping and receiving tasks. Clerks will demonstrate an intermediate ability to aid in developing new packaging processes and procedures, and determine work priority based on the shipping schedule to prepare loads for pickup. Typically 1-2 years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Packaging – Counting, Packaging, and putting away inventory.
Shipping – Utilizing FedEx, UPS, DHL Shipping manifest systems. Printing labels, setting up orders. Use forklifts and wrap machine.Receiving – Receive goods into ERP system.Scrap – Empty scrap bins throughout the facility.Raw material – Support Raw Material Dept. as needed. Moving wire/components within departments.Cycle counts – Perform counts throughout the yearWork safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.Lift up to 45lbsAble to work overtime as neededWork in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.Intermediate system transactionsCreating shipping documentation (BOL, POD etc.)Coordinating shipments for weekly goals/targetsPerforms other related duties as assigned or requested.
