**Job Title: Shipping & Receiving** **Job Description** This position involves ensuring the correct stacking and securement of products on pallets to prevent damage during transport. You will be responsible for palletizing products according to their installation requirements, applying shrink wrap, and labeling orders accurately. The role requires the use of overhead hoists for lifting and pallet jacks for product movement and truck loading. You will also load products onto trailers in the order they are to be installed on-site. As you progress, you will learn to lead the warehouse team and take on additional responsibilities. **Responsibilities** + Stack products correctly on pallets to prevent damage. + Palletize products according to installation requirements. + Shrink wrap products and apply appropriate labels. + Use overhead hoists for lifting and pallet jacks for moving products. + Load products onto trailers in installation order. + Lead the warehouse team and take on additional duties as needed. + Calculate fractions, decimals, portions, percentages, area, and volume. + Read blueprints, including shop drawings, hardware lists, and piece tickets. + Perform surface finishes such as acid washing, sandblasting, honing, and polishing. + Perform filling, patching, and painting of products as required. + Ensure correct pallet weights, product protection, and stability. + Load small trailers and semi-trailers, ensuring correct weights and tie-downs. **Essential Skills** + Shipping and Receiving + Work Orders + Forklift operation + Concrete handling + Use of power tools + Assembly + General labor **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 12 months of previous warehouse experience + Leadership capabilities with potential for advancement **Why Work Here?** This role offers the opportunity to advance into a leadership position, fostering personal and professional growth.
