Job Title: Shipping Lead
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shipping Lead to manage the movement of materials and finished products within our manufacturing facility. This role involves using overhead cranes and forklifts, as well as utilizing computer skills for managing bills of lading and emails. The ideal candidate will have rigging experience and be adept at preparing, securing, and controlling loads for lifting, moving, or positioning heavy equipment or materials.

ResponsibilitiesOperate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished products.Prepare, secure, and control loads for lifting, moving, or positioning heavy equipment or materials.Manage shipping and receiving tasks, handling incoming and outgoing shipments.Load and unload carriers and semi-trucks.Utilize computer skills to manage bills of lading and emails.Essential SkillsRigging experience is required.Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations.Strong computer skills, particularly in managing bills of lading and emails.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with yard organization and movement of heavy equipment using skid steers is nice to have.Ability to stage loads and unload carriers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing facility, operating on a day shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with potential overtime from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM depending on business needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mackinaw, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
