**Job Title: Shipping Coordinator**
**Job Description**
The primary function of this role is to support daily shipping and receiving operations, including the physical handling, packaging, labeling, and movement of materials. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate inventory control, timely outbound shipments, and safe material handling in a fast-paced industrial environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Facilitate daily shipping and receiving operations.
+ Handle, package, and label materials accurately.
+ Ensure accurate inventory control.
+ Coordinate timely outbound shipments.
+ Operate cranes and other machinery safely.
+ Perform data entry tasks related to logistics and inventory.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of manufacturing experience.
+ Proficiency in picking, packing, and general production tasks.
+ Experience with crane operation, shipping and receiving, and material handling.
+ Basic knowledge of inventory control and logistics.
+ Customer service skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a very large, industrial warehouse with a history of shipbuilding. The environment is old school, and while workers are out of the elements, it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter due to the constant opening and closing of doors. The benefits offered by the organization greatly outweigh the temperature challenges. The schedule is primarily 1st shift with flexible start times between 6:00–8:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Additionally, there is a 2nd shift option from Monday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Employees are provided with two 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch. Steel toe boots with non-detachable meta-tarsal covers are required for safety.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Roseville, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.50/hr.
