**Job Title: Shipping Coordinator** **Job Description** This position requires a self-reliant, highly motivated individual able to work independently and as part of a team. You must excel in multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment in an organized, accurate, and efficient manner. The role involves responsibilities in shipping, order fulfillment, customer returns, and shipping supply inventory management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, punctual, and reliable, with strong math and communication skills. **Responsibilities** + Ensure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents. + Pick and pack orders as per instructions, preparing them for shipment. + Coordinate with package delivery companies and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipment of goods. + Receive shipping supply inventory, verifying product and quantity accuracy, and shelve products. + Process outbound shipments, including moving boxes weighing up to 40 pounds, with occasional boxes up to 50 pounds. + Use palletizing materials and a pallet jack. + Maintain accurate records of all items shipped and received. + Prepare shipping documents including packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, technical statements, and shipping labels for both domestic and international shipments. + Follow up on any shipping delays promptly. + Purchase and maintain shipping materials and inventory. + Provide shipping quotes to the sales team. + Keep up with key safety training. + Perform other essential duties as required. **Essential Skills** + At least 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving. + At least 3 years of experience in inventory management. + Experience with logistics and export. + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Incoterms and export requirements. + Experience with various shipping methods. + Basic computer skills. **Why Work Here?** After a 6-month contract, employees qualify for an excellent benefits package that is 100% paid for both employees and their dependents.
