The Parcel Shipping Clerk will be responsible for coordinating outgoing shipments and ensuring all information is accurate in Shiphawk. This role involves working in a high-volume shipping area, handling many small orders daily, entering and verifying delivery addresses, and managing pallet dimensions and weights to coordinate shipping costs.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage all outgoing shipments.Ensure accuracy of shipping information in Shiphawk.Enter and verify delivery addresses, dimensions, and weights of pallets.Package products and lift items up to 40 lbs.Create labels for carriers and shrink-wrap or band pallets.Be flexible to work in other areas such as kitting and unloading containers.Assist with picking duties as needed.Work with the warehouse management system for bin transfers.Use a push cart to pick products in the warehouse.Utilize an RF Scanner to scan products into the system.Pack and label products for shipping.Assist with receiving products once trained.Essential Skills2+ years of freight shipping experience.Proficiency in FedEx Freight Manager.Experience with shipping and receiving, outbound freight, and parcel shipping.Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Familiarity with SAP and inventory control systems.Experience using a pallet jack and managing freight.Why Work Here?Join a small, laid-back warehouse environment that offers opportunities for career advancement into higher-level roles. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
