**Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the receipt of goods from various carriers, including small package carriers like UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight carriers such as XPO Logistics, UPS Freight, and FedEx Freight. You will be responsible for verifying materials against documentation, capturing purchase orders and receipt data into our ERP system, and ensuring all receiving records are accurate and thorough. **Responsibilities** + Receive goods from small package and freight carriers. + Verify materials received against documentation. + Capture purchase orders and receipt data into the ERP system. + Scan and file documents appropriately. + Maintain accuracy, responsibility, and thoroughness of all receiving records. + Use a repair database to receive and document products for service repair/calibration. + Demonstrate a strong sense of priority and attention to detail. + Keep the department clean and organized. **Essential Skills** + Experience with production planning/scheduling, ERP, inventory, MRP, and schedule planning. + Proficiency in inventory management, material shortages, work orders, and shipping & receiving. + Familiarity with RF scanners, ERP/Inventory systems, warehouse management, and manufacturing scheduling. + Knowledge of SAP, material planning, and supply chain management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with MS Excel and ERP systems. + Manufacturing experience is preferred but not necessary. + Experience with FIFO, LTL's, RMA's is preferred but not necessary. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
