**Job Title: Shipping Clerk**
**Job Description**
As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our shipping and receiving processes. Your responsibilities will include interfacing with customers via phone or email, contacting manufacturers for pricing, and entering vendor quotes. You will also be responsible for entering repair sales orders and validating entries against customer purchase orders.
**Responsibilities**
+ Interface with customers through phone or email for support and inquiries.
+ Contact manufacturers to obtain pricing information.
+ Enter vendor quotes into the system accurately.
+ Enter repair sales orders and validate entries against customer purchase orders.
+ Run open order reports to track status and progress.
+ Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely processing.
+ Process outbound customer orders through FedEx and UPS.
+ Match and validate paperwork for outbound customer orders.
+ Count, validate, and adjust inventory, reporting any errors and reasons for discrepancies.
+ Inspect and validate incoming shipments from suppliers.
+ Coordinate with Purchasing on issues related to damaged products and quantity discrepancies.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
+ Proficient in data entry.
+ Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping systems.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Minimum of 3 years of shipping experience.
+ Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counting and validation.
+ Ability to inspect and validate shipments effectively.
+ Coordination skills for working with purchasing teams.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
