Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling inbound and outbound functions, ensuring accuracy in processing orders and maintaining the organization of the work area.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in unloading and loading containers using a forklift or floor jack.Label and restack merchandise on pallets as needed to prepare items for storage.Perform inbound and outbound activities using RF scanners.Deliver goods to the proper storage area to be put into stock, Non-conform, or NSP areas.Complete final inspections of incoming and outgoing goods and report any discrepancies.Consolidate, pack, and ship orders to meet customer and carrier requirements.Assist in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all orders.Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.Essential SkillsExperience operating a sit-down forklift.Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds.Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or fulfillment center environment.Knowledge of inventory management.Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
