Our client, a leader in the shipping and logistics industry, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the operations department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Shipping Clerk
**Location:** Beecher, IL
**Pay Range:** $19.50 per hour
**Shift:** 5:30 AM - 4 PM, Tuesday to Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage inventory using Microsoft Dynamic 365 (D365) to ensure accurate stock levels.
+ Pick, pack, and process orders efficiently to meet customer demands.
+ Communicate with internal customers to resolve shipment issues and improve service.
+ Operate a forklift to load and unload materials safely.
+ Participate in continuous improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
+ Exemplary attendance with the ability to work overtime as needed.
+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Proficient in using ERP systems, specifically D365.
+ Ability to be trained on using a forklift per company standards.
