Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Shipping Clerk **Location:** Cypress, CA **Pay Range:** $18.00 **Shift:** 1st Shift – M-F 6:00am-3:00pm **What's the Job?** + Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications. + Communicate discrepancies between physical products and paperwork as needed. + Verify the accuracy of data and initiate corrections when necessary. + Coordinate special shipping and handling requests with the shipping department and other employees. + Prepare all domestic and international shipments. **What's Needed?** + 2 to 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. + 2+ years of previous Shipping and Receiving experience with Forklift. + Working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office, Splunk, Endicia, and FedEx Manager is a plus. + Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. + Ability to become fluent with software QAD, Sales Force, Splunk, Endicia, and FedEx Manager specifications.
