Job Description
Candidates will follow set and strict procedures for issuing parts from inventory for work-in-process orders, material usage, and for shipping products to customers. The candidate will pick materials and identify shortages affecting production schedules, as well as identify and reconcile inventory to help eliminate extra costs and minimize manufacturing downtime. They will also need to recognize various types of material receipts at the dock, sort by type, and deliver to the appropriate location.
ResponsibilitiesIssue parts from inventory for work-in-process orders following strict procedures.Pick materials and identify shortages affecting production schedules.Identify and reconcile inventory to minimize manufacturing downtime.Recognize and sort various types of material receipts at the dock.Deliver materials to appropriate locations.Essential SkillsExperience in high-volume distribution centers with 3,000 lines per day.Knowledge of ERP systems and RF scanning.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is optional.Experience with inventory transactions.Computer experience; training will be provided for ERP systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled warehouse that is very team-oriented. Flexibility is expected as you may be required to assist in different departments as needed. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of The Colony, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
