Job Title: Shipping Associate 1st shift 7am-3:30pm M-F $20-24/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to efficiently perform shipping operations. The role involves comparing shipment contents with customer sales orders and ensuring adherence to all safety procedures. You will utilize computer systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and shipping systems like UPS and FedEx to organize, package, palletize, and ship customer orders accurately. Operating a sit-down forklift is part of the job, with internal training available.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate shipping operations.Compare shipment contents with customer sales orders.Adhere to all safety procedures during shipping tasks.Utilize computer systems to organize, package, palletize, and ship orders.Operate a sit-down forklift (training provided if needed).

Essential Skills

Experience in palletizing, inventory management, and shipping and receiving.Proficient in order picking, packing, and material handling.Skilled in computer operation and various shipping systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred shipping experience in a related industry.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Strong listening and problem-solving skills.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, UPS shipper, and FedEx ship.Strong math and analytical aptitude.Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.Good verbal and written communication skills.GWC – (Gets the role, Wants to do it, Capacity to do it).Alignment with core values: Integrity, Team Pride, Expertise, Respect.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
