Join our team as a Shipping Associate, working from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM for a 6-8 week contract. In this role, you will handle the receipt of materials from vendors and customers, ensuring accuracy in quantities and descriptions against packing lists. This position plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations.
ResponsibilitiesReceive materials coming into the building from vendors and customers.Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.Examine incoming shipments and reject damaged items, reporting any discrepancies appropriately.Enter quantities received against purchase or production orders in the computer system.Essential SkillsForklift (stand up) certification.Ability to stand for long periods and lift, pull, and push up to 60 lbs.Experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, picking, and warehouse operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo degree required.Why Work Here?After 90 days, employees have the opportunity to join a union, offering additional benefits and job security.
