Our client, a leading logistics and shipping organization, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the shipping and packing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will help you succeed in this dynamic environment.
**Job Title:** Shipping Associate
**Location: Rochester, NY**
**Pay Range:** $17.50/hr
**Shift:** B Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday-Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform shipping and packing tasks efficiently and accurately
+ Count items and ensure correct quantities are packed
+ Operate computers to update shipping records and labels
+ Load pallets and lift boxes weighing 15-30 lbs as needed
+ Maintain good attendance and adhere to safety protocols
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to speak, read, and understand English
+ Basic counting skills
+ Computer use skills for data entry and record keeping
+ Reliable attendance and punctuality
+ Reliable transportation (there is no bus line that runs after 9pm)
+ Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 15-30 lbs
