Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Shipping Associate **Location:** Clare, MI **Pay Range:** $15.50 an hour **Shift:** 8 am - 4 pm, overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time - overtime can be heavy including Saturdays **What's Needed?** + High School diploma or GED REQUIRED. + Forklift experience REQUIRED + Ability to operate a forklift safely. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. + Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. **What's the Job?** + Directly responsible for shipping, receiving, and accounting for all produced or ordered materials to or from the client. + Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. + Operate forklifts and maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with company regulations. + Account for the correct quantity, description, and size of all produced goods or equipment to be shipped. + Record all relevant shipping information and enter it into the MRP system within a reasonable time. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain valuable experience in logistics and supply chain management. + Develop your skills in inventory control and shipping processes. + Be part of a team that values safety and compliance. + Potential for career growth within the organization.
