Job Description
The Shipping Associate is responsible for the final packaging and preparation of all outgoing customer orders. This includes accurately folding garments, applying branded materials, and ensuring each package is correctly labeled and ready for shipment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet daily shipping demands. The Shipping Associate will also collaborate with other departments and offer support as needed.
ResponsibilitiesReceive completed garments and customer orders, verifying contents against the work order to ensure accuracy.Carefully fold completed garments to customer standards, preparing them for packaging.Apply branded hangtags or other customer-specific materials to garments as required.Select appropriate packaging based on order size and customer specifications.Accurately pack individual orders, ensuring items are protected and presented neatly.Prepare larger boxed orders as necessary, ensuring proper packing and labeling for bulk shipments.Scan each package order using our shipping system to generate and print accurate shipping labels.Apply shipping labels securely and correctly to each package, ensuring scanners can properly scan labels.Organize completed packages for carrier pickup, ensuring they are ready for timely dispatch.Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all packing and labeling tasks, prioritizing precision over speed.Ensure all customer packaging standards are consistently met.Efficiently manage the prepping and preparing of items for shipping throughout the day to ensure all orders are dispatched on time.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company policies and procedures.Collaborate effectively within a team environment, offering assistance to fellow team members when needed.Assist other departments such as the Apparel Staging Lead or Receiving Associate when necessary to support overall departmental goals.Essential SkillsMaterials handlingWarehouse experienceGarment productionExperience using hand toolsProficiency with RF scannerExperience with manual pallet jackAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a shipping, packing, or fulfillment role is preferredExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsBasic computer skills for operating shipping softwareAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksCapable of lifting and moving boxes as requiredA strong team player with a willingness to assist other departments when neededWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is casual with a dress code allowing jeans, slacks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. Steel-toed boots or sneakers are required, and loose or baggy clothing and jewelry should be avoided. The role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 7am to 3:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
