Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Shipping Specialist and play a crucial role in our operations. You will work the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 3:30 pm on Fridays. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesPlan daily shipping activities by analyzing orders and shipping reports.Collaborate with the finishing assembly department to coordinate shipping tasks.Work alongside the purchaser to determine necessary orders.Package parts after final assembly and prepare shipments for both domestic and international delivery.Utilize UPS and FedEx systems for shipping and tracking.Operate a tow motor and pallet jack, with training provided.Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.Engage in tagging processes using a drill press to prepare discs for shipping.Use an air rivet or hand hammer to secure screws into discs.Utilize a computer system similar to ERP for order tracking and reporting.Assist in final packing, assembly, labeling inbound materials, and following work instructions.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in shipping.Experience with UPS and FedEx systems.Proficiency in preparing shipments and utilizing computer systems.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Willingness to work in a graphite environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with a drill press and tow motor is a plus.Leadership experience and familiarity with ERP/SAP systems are advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is a graphite shop, where you'll encounter some dust due to the manufacturing process. The workspace may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but break rooms are equipped with air conditioning. We take pride in our long-standing history and expertise in manufacturing graphite rupture disks, ensuring the highest quality and dedication to service.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
