Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality sporting goods, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Assistant to join their team. As a Shipping Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Distribution Department, supporting the efficient movement of materials and products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Shipping Assistant
**Location:** Caledonia, MN
**Pay Range: $19.25/hr**
**Shift:1st**
**What's the Job?**
+ Transport products between buildings to ensure smooth workflow
+ Box up inventory from production for storage or shipment
+ Count, monitor, and maintain inventory levels for shipping needs
+ Wrap and band pallets for storage and skid orders
+ Load and unload pallets efficiently and safely
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ One to two years of shipping and warehouse experience
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
+ Valid Driver’s License and forklift certification
