**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Worker for a temporary 1st shift position in a warehouse located in Elkhart, IN. This role is expected to last 4-6 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent long-term position. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, and shipping. + Pick the correct product safely and accurately, ensuring it is packaged in appropriate quantities and containers. + Ensure products are labeled correctly for shipping and distribution. + Verify that shipping orders match slips, use the appropriate shipping lines, and load packages. + Communicate and address issues related to damages, shortages, inventory inaccuracies, or specification discrepancies. **Essential Skills** + Experience in picking, packing, and general labor. + Familiarity with inventory management, forklift operation, and the use of RF scanners. + Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and material handling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift up to 50lbs. + Capability to count and organize bins for storage. + Willingness to be trained and adaptable to new tasks. + Team-oriented mindset. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits offered by Aerotek while working in a small, close-knit distribution center.
