**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Worker** **Job Description** A manufacturer in the northern Indianapolis region is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join their shipping department on the 1st shift. **Responsibilities** + Manually pick orders based on a pick ticket. + Regularly use RF scanner to track inventory. + Operate sit-down or stand-up forklift to stage product and pick pallets. + Use wrapping machine to prepare products for shipment. + Conduct quality inspection of final shipments to ensure all items are accurate. + Utilize Microsoft applications on the computer for various tasks. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models. + Experience with RF scanners and inventory tracking. + Ability to perform cycle counts and manage inventory. + Familiarity with ERP systems. + Skill in order picking and material handling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in shipping and receiving processes. + Knowledge of Bill of Lading (BOL) procedures. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with exciting expansion plans in the Indianapolis area, offering opportunities for career advancement and development. **Work Environment** The facility is generally clean and well-lit, providing a comfortable working environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westfield, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
