As a Shipping Specialist, you will be responsible for shipping finished goods and raw materials, labeling and packaging them in accordance with regulatory standards and customer-specific requirements. You will operate various equipment, including fork trucks, company vehicles, and pallet wrappers, while using Oracle applications to process orders, generate labels, and post shipments. Additionally, you will maintain a safe and clean work environment, perform independent inventory cycle counts, and manage record keeping and reporting responsibilities. Please review the information below and apply by submitting your resume with the best contact information for us to be able to reach out and speak further about this job and next steps. **Responsibilities** + Ship finished goods and raw materials. + Label and package finished goods in accordance with regulatory standards and customer specific requirements. + Operate fork truck, company vehicles, pallet wrapper, and other material handling equipment. + Operate computer (Oracle applications) to process orders, generate labels, and post shipments. + Perform timed (independent) inventory cycle counts with record keeping and reporting responsibilities. + Maintain a safe, clean work environment. + Create bills of lading and contact carriers. + Develop proficiency with Shipping Coordinator responsibilities. + Allocate orders and generate shipment paperwork. + Assist with freight tariffs and audit invoice charges from various logistics partners. + Coordinate freight routing with logistics partners. + Obtain the best and most efficient freight cost for out-of-scope freight movements with carriers. + Handle and communicate all Export logistics arrangements, including scheduling of containers and preparing customs documents. + Assist with the management of service requests and freight claims. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of forklift experience. + Prior manufacturing/production experience. + Ability to repetitively move up to 50 lbs. + Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and cycle counts. + Proficiency with UPS and FedEx shipping. + Understanding of SOP, inventory, material handling, and loading. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
