Job Description

Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Parts Associate will manage the flow of parts and supplies in and out of the dealership, ensuring accuracy, organization, and clear communication with internal teams. This role is key to keeping the service and parts departments running smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipmentsProcess outgoing shipments using proper procedures and labelingMaintain accurate records in inventory systemsCommunicate shipment status and updates to team members and managersKeep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and safeTrack deliveries and follow up on delayed or missing itemsHandle service rental car program as directedAssist with department paperwork and internal correspondenceSupport positive relationships between dealership, customers, and vendorsFollow all safety guidelines and immediately report incidents

QualificationsFamiliarity with safe material handling, basic inventory systems, and adherence to safety guidelines.Strong attention to detail and organizationComfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environmentBasic computer and data entry skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsValid driver's license and a clean driving record.All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in automotive shipping/receiving operationsFamiliarity with dealership or parts department systems
