**Job Description** Join a dynamic team as a 1st shift Shipping/Receiving Coordinator at a leading global supplier in Dewitt, Iowa. Full training and certifications will be provided for your success and professional development. **Responsibilities** + Process bills of lading, purchase orders, and all necessary documentation for domestic orders. + Follow DOT, IATA, and IMO procedures for hazardous material transportation. + Retrieve and send product SDS Sheets and Certifications to customers. + Interpret instructions from shippers and government bodies. + Prepare and complete export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and dangerous goods forms. + Obtain and negotiate rates for air, ground, and ocean shipments. + Analyze and select the best carriers for shipping products. + Schedule shipments by contacting carriers through calls or emails. + Maintain relationships with regulatory freight forwarders, vendors, and customer service departments. + Make shipping arrangements by communicating with freight forwarders and detailing necessary shipment information. + Contribute to Import/Export Custom Compliance audits and meetings. + Resolve freight and trucking claims. + Implement the latest shipping documents. + Learn and implement UPS procedures and verify regulations. + Assist the Shipping Manager/Supervisor in continuous improvement of Safety Risk Assessment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel). + Experience in shipping documentation. + Skills in inventory control and logistics. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a Fortune 250 company offering a supportive culture and work-life balance.
