**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk & Inventory Specialist**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk & Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes, ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
+ Manage the shipping and receiving of materials and products using established processes.
+ Assist with inventory, receiving, shipping, and miscellaneous projects as assigned.
+ Maintain and update procedures, work instructions, and policies relevant to responsibilities.
+ Mentor program participants, providing guidance and feedback as necessary.
+ Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
+ Collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve company and personal goals.
+ Participate in team and company meetings as required.
+ Exemplify proper work ethics, behaviors, hygiene, and appropriate work attire.
+ Utilize ERP system to process work orders, verifying correct items, quantities, quality, and documentation.
+ Issue materials to work orders and route them to work centers.
+ Pick and pull parts from inventory and perform cycle counts.
+ Generate pull tickets and investigate inventory discrepancies, making necessary adjustments.
+ Review obsolete and slow-moving inventory, providing recommendations for disposition.
Essential Skills
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving, utilizing various packing, picking, and shipping processes.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Customer service skills, with the ability to relate well to internal and external customers.
+ Experience in inventory control, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
+ Forklift operation experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Possession or acquisition of necessary tools to accomplish work objectives.
+ Two years of relevant inventory control experience preferred.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
+ Aptitude for mentoring program participants.

Work Environment
The work environment includes frequent use of a computer, hands, and vision abilities for handling materials. It involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds with team assistance for heavier objects, and exposure to a manufacturing shop floor. Safety glasses are required, and hearing protection may be necessary due to excess noise levels. The role demands adherence to safety protocols and proper hygiene.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
