Assist in Specials when assigned. + Unload, check-in, receive, and put away truckloads of product, including listed, specials, and seasonal/One-time Buy. + Report any safety issues that come up during the shift and report the issue to the Supervisor and/or Manager. + Train employees on the proper use of material handling equipment and replenishment. + Fill out breakage slips and time-off requests correctly. + Conduct regular and/or spot-check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment. + Maintains accurate records and logs. + Delivers items that are either stored in a secure warehouse or received by the warehouse. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of warehouse procedures and techniques, including sorting and stacking. + Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local policies and regulations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None OR Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Finance) Experience: No prior experience required Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a sustained rate regularly.
