**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk responsible for the creation of purchase orders and ensuring all materials are dispatched and delivered correctly. This role involves checking in and sorting materials and requires proficiency in using Sage Intacct, similar to SAP. **Responsibilities** + Create and manage purchase orders for shipping and receiving operations. + Check in and sort all dispatched and delivered materials. + Operate manual pallet jacks for moving materials; forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory. + Utilize Sage Intacct software for inventory management and logistics, spending approximately 40% of the time on computer tasks, primarily in the mornings. + Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate record-keeping and organization. + Handle materials that may weigh over 50 lbs using available equipment such as pallet jacks. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar software like SAP. + Basic computer skills with a focus on warehouse management systems (WMS). + Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and receiving processes. + Experience in inventory control. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control is preferred. + Forklift license is advantageous but not required. + Inbound and outbound logistics knowledge is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a competitive pay rate and the stability of working one shift with no risk of moving to a later shift.
