**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the flow of goods in our warehouse. This role involves operating forklifts, ensuring safety compliance, managing inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workspace. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport goods, load and unload trucks, and move items to and from storage, production, and dock areas. + Perform daily inspections of equipment, report any issues, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, identify potential hazards, and adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations. + Utilize RF scanners or other systems to track inventory, pick and wrap orders, manage stock rotation using the FIFO method, and complete necessary documentation. + Ensure loads are properly secured, weight distribution is correct, and items are stacked in designated locations. + Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work area; report any machinery needing repair. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts. + Experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, and material handling. + Strong understanding of safety compliance and OSHA regulations. + Ability to use RF scanners or other inventory management systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. + Ability to perform manual tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, efficiency, and precision.
