Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Weekly Pay

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate receipt and shipment of materials, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Review scheduled receipts and shipments for the day.Ensure accurate receipt of material into the facility, including raw, packaging, and Co-Pack items, and verify outgoing shipments match the bill of lading.Complete required forms and paperwork for proper receipt of material using the Sage ERP system.Conduct quality checks on materials, focusing on color and moisture.Stage shipments and unload and store finished goods.Ensure adherence to food safety and quality objectives, ensuring products meet company policy, regulatory requirements, and Safe Quality Food certification standards.Coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries.Implement and actively participate in the company safety program (AWAIR), holding regular meetings and training sessions with all employees in coordination with other production supervisors.Create and foster a safe work environment, meeting government and other regulatory agency requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Experience in forklift operation and possession of a Forklift License.Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.Understanding of logistics, inventory control, and packaging.Experience with ERP systems and data entry.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cannon Falls, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
