Seeking skilled Shipping and Receiving Clerks to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient logistics operations within a dynamic environment.

ResponsibilitiesKeep materials stacked and ensure smooth movement throughout the facility.Stock the line when parts are running low to maintain production efficiency.Fill and unload pallets and tubs, ensuring accurate inventory counts.Pull materials to the dock for outbound shipment.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of material handling experience.High attention to detail and quality assurance.Ability to lift, bend, and stretch throughout the shift, handling weights between 50 to 75 pounds.Steel toe shoes/boots required for safety.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred sit-down forklift experience.Forklift certification is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a launch sequencing facility dedicated to Chrysler business. The facility spans 150,000 square feet and has been recently remodeled, offering a cleanroom environment with a strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness. The facility houses 244 Fanuc Robots, sub-assembly cells, Flex cells, standalone cells, weld robots, and dispensing robots. It is a non-union plant, with plastics operating on a JIT basis while metals do not. Please note that cell phones are not permitted on the floor during work hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.
