**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** Job Description Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you will work closely with the Manager on the floor. You will be responsible for reading over orders, loading and unloading trucks of cabinet materials, and assisting other departments as needed. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to learn more about cabinetry and potentially advance into installation work. Responsibilities + Read and interpret orders to ensure accurate loading and unloading of cabinet materials. + Use basic hand tools, tape measures, air tools, and small hand tools effectively. + Maintain a willingness to learn and develop mechanical aptitude. + Assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations. Essential Skills + Demonstrated strong attention to detail. + Ability to perform basic math functions. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Lamination experience is a plus, especially with other countertop companies. + Experience in general labor, production, carpentry, cabinet making, and assembly. Work Environment The work environment is a custom cabinetry shop specializing in kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops. Expect a millwright setting with wood debris. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with flexibility for longer hours and some Saturdays as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
