As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be integral to the operations within the warehouse. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility.
ResponsibilitiesRead work orders to determine production specifications and information.Pick and pack materials for shipment.Load and unload trucks.Verify product quality and prepare items for shipping.Keep track of inventory.Maintain cleanliness of the facility and workstations.Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements.Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using moving equipment and hand tools.
Essential SkillsExperience within a manufacturing setting.Understanding of production/mfg environment metrics, quotas, and expectations.Ability to lift 30 - 40 lbs throughout the day.High attention to detail.Ability to understand and perform basic math equations, including working with fractions.High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior forklift experience.

Work Environment
This role is set in a manufacturing environment that is air-conditioned in the batch-making area, although other areas may still be warm. The first shift runs from Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with two 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
