Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes while contributing to various production and assembly tasks.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and send items for shipment efficiently and accurately.Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.Accurately record data including weight and dimensions.Correctly place labels on outgoing shipments.Prepare bill of lading, work orders, and shipping orders.Utilize scanners to ensure accurate inventory records.Safely load and unload trucks.Assist with various production and assembly tasks in addition to shipping responsibilities as needed.Conduct inventory checks.
Essential SkillsAt least one year of previous shipping and receiving experience required.Must be able to lift 50+lbs throughout the shift.Must be able to work effectively in Microsoft Excel.Must be able to perform basic shop math calculations.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment
Work in a flexible shift environment with hours from 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, or optionally 8am-4:30pm. Enjoy a small team atmosphere with around 13 employees on the floor. The facility is equipped with top-of-the-line CNC machines and maintains a very clean environment.
