Shipping And Receiving Clerk
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Start 9/8 - Up to $23/hr

Job Description

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, where you will oversee the efficient movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining quality standards. This position involves working the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 5am-3:30pm, with some optional overtime on Fridays. Once a month, the shift will be 6am - 3pm from Monday to Thursday and 8am - 12pm on Friday.

Responsibilities

In Shipping: Prepare and stage products for shipment, ensuring high quality and correct packaging. Process sales orders accurately.Create and manage shipping documents, including labels, commercial invoices, USMCA Certificates, and Bills of Lading, ensuring accuracy.Coordinate with carriers for freight pickup and manage domestic and international shipment paperwork.Load materials onto transport vehicles manually or mechanically.Communicate internally to resolve order issues and provide shipment status updates.In Receiving: Coordinate incoming shipments, label, and store materials correctly.Ensure merchandise is delivered to the correct warehouse or cell location.Maintain appropriate point-of-use storage levels in production cells.Verify incoming products against purchase orders and document variances.Perform data entry within the ERP system for accurate material traceability and accountability.Load and unload materials from various transport methods.Support compliance with ISO 9001 standards and procedures.Promote and adhere to company safety and health policies.Strive for product and process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.Work cross-functionally with shipping and receiving departments.Support Lean initiatives and maintain a neat work area.Monitor cost and effectiveness of activities, prioritize spending, and meet safety standards.Collaborate with external vendors as needed.Report job-related problems to a supervisor.

Essential Skills

Experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving.Knowledge of logistics, assembly, and subassembly processes.Proficiency with SAP, picking, pallet jack, packing, and packaging.Material handling and warehouse inventory management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred 6 months of assembly experience.Ability to read and document English work instructions.Quick learning ability and excellent punctuality.

Work in a climate-controlled facility that manufactures commercial humidifiers and steam machines. Employees rotate between three cells, gaining cross-training opportunities. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
