**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerks to join our team at the Troy facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and maintaining accurate inventory records. **Responsibilities** + Keep materials stacked and move them throughout the facility efficiently. + Stock the line when parts are running low to ensure continuous operations. + Fill and unload pallets and tubs, maintaining organization. + Keep accurate counts of data and inventory records. + Pull materials to the dock for shipping. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of warehouse experience. + High attention to detail with a commitment to quality. + Ability to lift, bend, and stretch throughout the shift, capable of lifting 50-75 pounds. + Experience with shipping and receiving, logistics, and inventory control. + Proficiency in order selection and picking. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Sit down forklift experience is preferred. + Forklift certification is an advantage. + Must wear steel toe shoes/boots. + No adverse finishes in employment history or reasons for leaving past employers. **Why Work Here?** After 90 days, you will be eligible for direct employment with benefits including a pay increase after January 15th, annual pay reviews, and holiday pay. The facility includes 244 Fanuc Robots, Sub Assembly Cells, Flex Cells, Stand Alone Cells, Weld Robots, and Dispensing Robots. This is a non-union plant catering solely to Chrysler business, with a Just-In-Time approach on the plastics side. Please note, cell phones are not permitted on the floor. The standard shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, with overtime expected as needed. Some Saturday work may be required, though efforts are made to limit this. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.
