**Hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Minneapolis!** **Responsibilities** + Conduct shipping and receiving of sales orders, supplies, materials, and related items, including hazardous materials. + Operate sit-down forklift to load/unload trucks, move pallets, and transfer products between warehouse and production areas. + Load and unload trucks at the Warehouse and the manufacturing process center. + Schedule logistics with freight companies, vendors, and customers via phone and email. + Process sales orders through the ERP 10 system. + Assist in accurate receiving, inspection, quality documentation, and transactions using micrometer and caliper. + Label and store incoming and outgoing test materials, and stock supplies needed for shipping and receiving. + Report damaged goods and material shortages. + Prepare export documents for international shipments. + Custom build crates for machines and parts using nail guns and tools. + Pack parts and print shipping labels using UPS/FedEx systems. + Manage and order shipping supplies. + Log and scan shipping and receiving activities into the database and network daily. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year shipping and receiving experience. + 1+ year sit-down forklift operation experience. + 6+ months experience with ERP system and shipping software. + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools. + Excellent communication skills in email and in person. + Excellent organizational skills and basic computer skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience handling hazardous materials. + Experience in material handling and international shipping. + Scheduling and vendor communication skills. + Crate building experience. + Experience with micrometers/calipers for inspections. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that offers excellent long-term growth opportunities and promotes from within. The shipping, packaging, and logistics area is air-conditioned, with a separate office and lunchroom. The industrial chemical processing environment can be hot during summer, requiring face masks provided by the company. Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and freight elevators across two floors, with locker rooms available. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Brighton, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
