Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked and packed using packing slips. You will build boxes, prepare shipments, and stage them for delivery, while securely wrapping and banding pallets for transport. Additionally, you will organize inventory and assist with restocking and stock rotation projects, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and navigating aisles using an alphanumeric system.

ResponsibilitiesPick and pack customer orders accurately using packing slips.Build boxes, prepare shipments, and stage for delivery.Wrap and band pallets securely for transport.Organize inventory and assist with restocking and stock rotation projects.Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping and shelf cleaning.Navigate warehouse aisles using an alphanumeric system to locate items.Support general shipping and receiving tasks, including labeling and documentation.Utilize basic computer programs (Excel, Outlook, internal tracking systems) to update order status, manage inventory, and communicate with the team.Essential SkillsMinimum 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment.Ability to lift and move 50lb boxes and materials throughout the shift.Comfortable working on your feet and navigating warehouse aisles.Basic computer skills - Excel, Outlook, etc.Attention to detail and ability to follow packing instructions.Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions and complete paperwork.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with RF scanners and inventory control systems.Forklift operation skills.Experience in loading and unloading tasks.Why Work Here

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
