Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse operations team. This role will primarily focus on shipping tasks but requires flexibility to support receiving functions as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with both standard and custom procedures.
Key Responsibilities:Shipping Operations (Primary Focus):Review hourly shipping reports and retrieve products from the warehouse.Package, box, and prepare items for shipment following standard procedures and client-specific requirements.Process shipments using UPS and other carriers, including documentation and labeling.Schedule shipments, select carriers, and coordinate shipping dates.Receiving Operations:Unload incoming deliveries, inspect goods, and verify against invoices.Process receiving paperwork and enter data into the ERP/MRP system.Deliver received items to appropriate departments (e.g., QA, inventory storage).General Warehouse Duties:Handle materials, parts, and equipment safely and efficiently.Palletize, crate, or box items for incoming and outgoing shipments.Assist with loading and unloading large components such as compressors or dryers.Support inventory tracking and order fulfillment using ERP systems.Collaborate with team members and assist in other warehouse tasks as needed.Skills & Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Basic computer skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.Ability to use hand tools and warehouse equipment safely.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow both standard and custom procedures.Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials and packages.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Top Skills:Shipping & ReceivingERP/MRP System UsePackaging & Material HandlingWarehouse OperationsInventory ManagementPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
