**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling heavy material and working with Fedex and UPS shipping/receiving systems. This role involves transporting materials throughout the manufacturing facility and processing inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory records. **Responsibilities** + Unload, receive, and unpack materials, ensuring proper shipment labels. + Pick and pack specific items for shipping. + Inspect items for damage before shipment. + Operate forklift after obtaining certification. + Order picking and transporting parts to and from different departments. + Utilize UPS World Ship system for inputting items. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving. + Proficiency in Fedex/UPS systems. + Forklift operation experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Material handling and order picking skills. + Experience with inventory management and international shipping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Sit-down forklift operation experience (1 year). + Cherry Picker experience (1 year). + UPS World Ship experience (1 year). + Picking and packing experience. + Ability to stand and walk for long periods. + Experience with Torrent Forklift is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a clean working environment in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology. **Work Environment** The candidate will work in the shipping and receiving department alongside four other employees. The shift is from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required at all times on the production floor. The warehouse can be loud, so candidates must be comfortable with noise. There will be a requirement to climb stairs, ramps, and ladders. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NILES, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
