**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Shipping and Receiving Associates. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors to load and unload materials from flatbed trucks, delivering materials to designated areas, and replenishing the fabrication line. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant by managing extrusion inventory and accurately pulling materials for the fabrication department. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload materials on and off flatbed trucks. + Deliver materials to designated areas and replenish the fabrication line. + Count and manage physical inventory in the yard. + Notify department leads and supervisors of errors in placement of materials and damaged products. + Shrink wrap and build custom wooden crates for transport. + Utilize inventory systems with strong computer/data entry skills. + Operate a forklift as part of inventory management and shipping/receiving functions. + Work with high racking systems and floor-level products. + Meet daily and overall production goals for respective departments. + Maintain organization of inventory layout in both the yard and shop. + Stage and stack products on outdoor racking systems. + Lift up to 50lbs unassisted and stand/walk for an 8-hour shift. **Essential Skills** + Experience with heavy industrial, heavy equipment, forklift, and inventory management. + Strong computer/data entry skills, particularly with PCs and iPads. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and work in a physically demanding environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-oriented environment where employees are valued and supported.
