Job Description
This position involves moving products around the warehouse and in the shipping and receiving department using forklifts and pallet jacks. You will keep production areas stocked and move finished products to be prepared for shipping. You will work off paper pick sheets, with plans to transition to an RF Scanner system. The role also includes order picking of smaller parts and creating shipping BOLs, as well as contacting carriers for LTL/Truck loads.
ResponsibilitiesUnload truck loads of material and organize them correctly in the receiving area while tagging appropriately.Assist in bringing material to machine operators to keep machines running with the correct material.Receive calls from supervisors requesting specific materials, then locate and deliver them to the correct machines.Work in the warehouse by the assembly department, receiving pick sheets, utilizing a forklift to gather needed materials, building pallets, and delivering them to the assembly area.Assist the shipping department as needed and perform cycle counts during downtime.Essential SkillsMaterial handlingOrder pickingForklift operation (stand up or sit down)Shipping and receiving experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsProficiency on computersExperience with RF scannersGeneral labor skillsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a brand-new facility opened within the past five years. It is not temperature controlled and can get hot during the summer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
